a summary of the chaotic day
12pm : help mr faizal alittle with some art stuff
2.30pm : Chicken Little Movie

the "funny" new security guard"
.
was still in school helping out at 1.15pm and i wouldn't be able to make it for the movie if i left for home to get my brother, then came back to school to meet hilda and set off for westmall.. so i got my brother to come down to the school gate..
.
(meanwhile, i went to the security guard at the gate)

me : uncle, ke yi rang wo de didi jing lai ma?
[can u let my brother into the sch?]
.
uncle : ke yi ah, zhi yao ta zai zhe li qian ming (as he points to dat book)
[as long as he signs here]
.
.
. (as alot of crap's said, he finally gets kpo)

.
uncle : ni xian zai du zong ji?
[what secondary level are u at now?]

me : oh, wo bi ye le.. (smiling)
[oh, i've finished my studies here]
.
uncle : zhen de meh? bu yao pian wo la.. na li ke neng zhe yang ai..
[really meh? dun bluff me la, den how can u be so short]

me : (smile fades as i argue)

(as i continue writing my brother's particulars, Mrs Koh comes in, that geography teacher)

uncle : (speaking softly) ni de mama ah?
[ ur mother ah?]

me : (trying to stop my eyes from rolling) bu shi la! *fakes laughter*
[no la!]

. (finally gets into the school)

(as i'm leaving the sch with my brother and hilda later for the movie..)

uncle : (smiling at me then gestering towards hilda) ni de jiejie ah?
[ur big sister ah?]

me and hilda : *sniggers as we walk away*
.
(as the sg gets out of sight, naturally, i start complaining to hilda abt everything he's said, lol)

haiz.. quite a hilarious security guard.. fortunately, not many chances of me bumping into him again.. wonder what he's gonna say to me next.. haha..

Hubert's lost ez-link card
.
a kinda long story but i'll cut it short..
was at the bus stop waiting for the bus to get to westmall.. passed hilda hubert's ez link card so she'll pass to him.. she passed it to him.. then we realised we were getting really late.. decided to take the cab instead.. i forgot to take the ez-link card back from him.. only realised the card was neither on me nor on hubert when we were going to take the bus back from westmall.. since hubert can't remember where he left the card.. we ran thru the possibilities..

1. at the first bus stop we were at
2. in the taxi (i was hoping not)
3. at burger king (where i got my food to sneak into the theatres)
4. at kfc (where hilda got her food to sneak into the theatres)
5. in the theatres where he probably let it slip outta his pocket if it was in there at all
6. in his pocket.
.
so first we had a full body check on him.. then walked back to westmall.. checked at kfc, bk and the ticket counter and told them my contact number and our seats and everything else necessary.. left the place very disappointedly..

then we went to school to meet huimin.. (thot i remembered sitting in a comfort taxi) saw a comfort taxi pass by, caught their hotline number and dialed it.. reported hubert's card lost.. the woman gave me the translink number too.. haven't tried calling this yet though..
me, huimin, hilda and hubert went on to the police station.. only to find out that it wasn't necessary to report lost anymore.. policeman said we just had to go to his school and fill in some kinda form and we'll get a new one..
.
called my mum after confirming the loss of the ez-link card.. i expected her to be fuming mad.. but she wasn't.. so i was quite cool when she said i was "careless" and that i "deserved having to go through all that trouble for him".. nevermind, i had my part to play in this loss.. i'm willing to go down to fuhua pri to settle his ez-link card too, but that'll have to wait after my camp..

okay, guess i didn't really cut the story that short but the whole thing felt a whole lot longer than how i've summarized it to be haha..
.
alright, gotta pack my bag for tmr's camp..
there'll be alot of rope climbing and fun activities i hope..
looking forward to them, not the exhaustion from it.. =)
