in memory

September 6, 2006

i regret not watching more of Crocodile Hunter episodes despite the fact that i do have Animal Planet and Discovery Channels.
i really did like Steve Irwin, he was funny, hyper and really one of the rare daredevil-ed naturalists.
guess it's a little too late to start appreciating his documentaries now that they suddenly seem to have become so limited due to his death.

flipped the TvGuide for SCV channels to check wad's on Animal Planet earlier today.
they replaced the Jeff Corwin's Experience (another naturalist) with a special programme on Steve Irwin alone.
"He's my daddy and i love him so much"
as quoted from Steve's daughter, on an interview way before the tragedy.

Steve and Bindi Irwin.
there's no wonder Steve claimed that he "love her even more than life itself".
i would've cried for weeks if i lost a father who doted on me as much, feel like crying for her too.

i couldn't find a clear picture of his son, Bob Irwin, probably because he's still too young.
a pity he hasn't got a chance to really get to know his dad yet.

aiyo. bottomline, stupid stingray.
as everywhere's stated, it's a real irony that his parture is the cause of the usually not-so-dangerous-creature.

i'm getting carried away.
but i'm really sad!

Crocodile Hunter's showing everyday at noon on Animal Planet.
gotta catch wads left of the episodes.
