my first official year back in singapore for the new year..
it's still great even though i havent been around most of my life when relatives come by..
there were SO many people and the home was really happening, and h-o-t..
these are just the shoes, imagine the humans attached to them, all under one roof too.
overwhelming and not forgetting amazing how many children the earlier generation can make..
ps: that's my grandfather's butt. hahah..
then i met some of the later generations, really cute ones!
let's meet audrey! hah, so sweet, small and saliva-filled..
glad that she smiled at me despite being so distracted by my mom..
then she turned over to say hi!

in a few years time i'll be the one making myself sound old telling her,
"remember me anot! last time i carry you one ahhh"
it was really nice getting to meet the cousins!
i'm suddenly reminded of why i liked being with them, such fun people! (:
everyone has to have a certain family member who makes snide remarks and sure enough, i have one too, just one single nutcase..
i seriously detest people who twist around with words to insult!
not sparing my brother too! he doesnt even realize he's been insulted, urgh!
so hypocritical.. ewwwucks!
ahh, well, she can be her and i wont be affected.
ok i obviously am affected already, hah..
being incoherent.. shall stop..
ok.. out of the cny topic, my home received a letter from the loansharks a few months ago..
threatening us with hellnotes and a typed-out letter saying if this indian guy from the 4th floor doesnt pay up, he'll splash our door with paint and whatever you see on tv.
it was FREAKIN SCARY then.. we even went to the police.. ha!
ok now i can see it as a joke cos i doubt it'll ever happen,
the hellnote was scary though..
remember not knowing what that was and flipping thru the note till i saw "currency from the otherworld" then i threw it to the floor, FREAK! hahahahhaahah, hilarious thinking back now..
well, i'm bringing that up again becos i came across a car the other day, sprayed paint with threatening words and a police was taking pics of it..
not really clear but yeah, it's there..
initially thought it was some other crime till..
the same name and address on that letter we received..
hugely written on the wall right after the lift's turning..
shocking and somehow entertaining.. hahah..
so interesting what loansharks do,
hopefully all these threats work out soon!
told siti and hubert after getting home,
they went down right away to check the car out and managed to catch a glimpse of the grumpy looking indian victim driving away..
well we all know why he's glum..
all my sympathies out though.
