marina square to spend the afternoon with the family - bro's bday.
had dinner at Kenny Rogers.
set my mind on this.
it arrived like this and all was going wow, and i was going omgosh oh no.
flipped the tip off, still - omgosh oh no crap shucks, so much!
then it became - mmm good but getting too near to full.
by this point, dead.
not forgetting the other 2 side dishes that comes along with it. ahh~
okay, then i left the family to meet yiming at clarke quay,
to have a more fulfilling slack before school starts.
it was either Marrakesh or Clinic cos i wanted to try either the smoking or the drinking-from-the-drip thing.
apparently, marrakesh was the ultimate decision.
and we tried the shisha (found out what that's called)
BEcos some poly friend, name starting with L, ending with N, letter S in the middle, and if i'm not wrong, remaining letters are all Is, said it was just some flavoured smoke. hah.
read up about it and..

i'm SO disgusted by the idea that this really is like normal smoking.

but seriously, we tried genuinely not knowing what that was and i know reading up before trying something is better than after the fact. Ah!
okay, guess that's my first and last, at least it was fun.
$20 for the shisha and the mango juice was good, $8.
anyway, the waiter came over about after an hour (they speak like Jay Chou i tell you!)
he said "Have you finished?"
i thought he said "Do you still want it?" (maybe i was drunk on smoke or something)
so i said Yes and he took it away. *eyes widen*
kept the nip thing for memorial purposes, also for smell keeping.
even till now, the smell's still there eh.
hopefully it goes off soon so i dont keep thinking of wanting to go back there. addictive!
i DO NOT want to become a smoker cos of this.

ahh yea, before this i finally got my chance to walk to Riverside Point to watch them fly those night kites.
they looked so nice!
then we eavesdropped on this young white boy asking about the kites.
if we didn't hear wrongly, it's $600+ per kite. woah lar.
was beginning to wonder if i could bribe someone to lend me theirs to fly for awhile,
since buying one myself is obviously impossible.
okay stop thinking about the Shisha!
